New X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX TV Spot Proves That You Don't Want to Mess with Jean Grey

"Are you threatening me? Because that would be a bad idea."

Jean Grey is a force to be reckoned with in the latest TV spot for X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Her full power is going to be unleashed in this movie, and she is going to leave a trail of devastation and carnage behind her as these powers grow within her and she relishes in using them.

With this being the final X-Men film under the Fox banner, it would be kinda funny if they just decided to kill off the majority of these mutant characters.

I recently got to see a good amount of new footage from the film at WonderCon, and I actually kinda liked what I saw. I think that there’s a chance this movie could turn out to be good, so I’m going into it cautiously optimistic and with an open mind.

In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling out of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite -- not only to save Jean's soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.

The Simon Kinberg-directed film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be released on June 7th, 2019.
