Newborns Are Being Dressed as Festive Baby Yodas in One Hospital

Over the weekend, I saw a heartwarming story that I thought I’d share. CNN reported that over at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, newborns are being dressed as festive Baby Yodas, and it’s adorable. Caitlin Pechin is a nurse at the hospital who crocheted Santa hats with built-in Yoda ears. She says that each hat took roughly an hour and a half to make. Meanwhile, the parents seem to be loving it. Sean McGowan said:

We’ve been laughing. Ever since we watched ‘The Mandalorian’ when it came out, she looked at me and was like, ‘I want one. I want one.’

I said, ‘Well you’re going to get a baby soon. We’ll try to find you a Baby Yoda.

Those hats are adorable, and I hope Pechin starts up an Etsy shop so I can buy a few.
