Nicholas Galitzine Shows Off He-Man’s Power Sword Fighting Skills in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE BTS Video

Nicholas Galitzine just gave fans another glimpse into the making of Masters of the Universe, and this time he’s doing soime fight training with none other than He-Man’s legendary Power Sword.

The actor shared a behind-the-scenes video on social media to celebrate his birthday, showing him in the middle of an intense fight rehearsal.

While not in full costume, Galitzine can be seen fending off multiple attackers with the sword that allows Prince Adam to transform into Eternia’s protector.

We still don’t have an official teaser trailer for the live-action Masters of the Universe movie, but we’ve already gotten a leaked look at Galitzine riding Battle Cat and now this new footage of him channeling He-Man’s might.

He-Man becomes the most powerful man in the universe by holding the sword over his head and proclaiming, “By the power of Grayskull, I HAVE THE POWER!”

The film has assembled an interesting cast with Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto takes on the role of Skeletor, Idris Elba will appear as Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin plays The Sorceress, while James Purefoy and Charlotte Riley step into the roles of King Randor and Queen Marlena. Alison Brie joins as Skeletor’s loyal second-in-command Evil-Lyn.

The roster also includes Sam C. Wilson (House of the Dragon) as Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah (The Beekeeper) as Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang (Eternals) as Ram-Man, and Kristin Wiig lending her voice to the fan-favorite character Roboto.

This long-awaited project has been through development hell for years. Netflix initially had the rights, but the studio abandoned the project in 2022. Amazon/MGM Studios eventually picked it up with Travis Knight (Bumblebee) directing.

The story follows “10-year-old Prince Adam who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor.

“But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!”

Masters of the Universe is finally set to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
