Nicholas Galitzine to Play Supermodel Hoyt Richards in New Gus Van Sant Directed Film

Nicholas Galitzine (Masters of the Universe, Red, White and Royal Blue, Cinderella, Purple Hearts) has signed on to play male supermodel Hoyt Richards in a new movie from director Gus Van Sant (Milk, Good Will Hunting).

Plot details haven’t been confirmed, though Richards is known for becoming the world’s first male supermodel — jet-setting across the globe to pose for fashion houses including Versace, Ralph Lauren and Burberry.

Richards, currently 64, is the subject of a new HBO documentary, Bring Me the Beauties. The three-part series chronicles how Richards became ensnared in — and gave millions of dollars to — a doomsday cult called Eternal Values, which was led by Friedrich von Mierers and preyed on young male models.

In the meantime, Galitzine will appear in the Red, White and Royal Blue sequel, Red, White and Royal Wedding, as well as director Pete Berg’s WWII-set sports drama The Mosquito Bowl.
