Nick Jonas Officially Set to Return for JUMANJI Sequel

Nick Jonas played Alex in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, a character who was also trapped in the video game but was unaware of how long he’d been there. The other teenaged characters recognized his name as a kid from their neighborhood who had gone missing when they were children, younger than him. His video game avatar was a pilot who ended up helping them to the end of the game. But once it was all over, and they were back in the real world, he had been able to return to his original time, and they later saw him grown up with a family. They acknowledged each other and there was a nice moment at the end of the movie.

That being said, I don’t know in what capacity Nick Jonas could return, but it’s not my job to make it work. I’m sure they will make it make sense. Plus Nick Jonas is fun and nice to look at, so it’s all good. We reported earlier this week that the original teens from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle are returning, and we know we will also see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan, as well as newcomers Danny Glover, Danny DeVito, and Awkwafina, so that’s an incredibly talented and fun cast. I’m excited for the film for sure! Are you?

The untitled Jumanji sequel is expected to hit theaters December 13, 2019.
