Nick Offerman Joins the Cast of Comedy Thriller Love Story THE RESORT at Peacock
Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, Pam & Tommy) has rounded out the cast of the upcoming comedy thriller love story series The Resort, that is headed to Peacock. He joins previously cast stars William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, as well as Skyler Gisondo, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden and Gabriela Cartol, and recurring guest stars Ben Sinclair, Parvesh Cheena, Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, Michael Hitchcock, and Becky Ann Baker.
In the series, which is also described as a coming of age story disguised as a fast-paced mystery about the disappointment of time, “An anniversary trip puts a marriage to the test when a couple (Harper and Milioti) find themselves embroiled in one of the Mayan Riviera’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries that took place 15 years prior.”
Offerman plays Murray Thompson, Violet’s (Bloomgarden) father.
The series comes from writer Andy Siara (Palm Springs) and Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail. Cast member Ben Sinclair also directs and executive produces episodes one through four. The cast and creators are enough to intrigue me for sure.
The Resort is currently in production in the tropical location of Puerto Rico. Are you looking forward to this series?
