Nick Robinson Hired to Star Opposite Margaret Qualley in Dramedy Series MAID at Netflix
Nick Robinson, known for his roles in The Kings of Summer, Jurassic World, and Love, Simon, has signed on to star in the Netflix dramedy series Maid starring opposite Margaret Qualley (Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, Fosse/Verdon, Seberg). The show is being written by Molly Smith Metzler (Orange is the New Black, Shameless).
Deadline provides the following description:
Maid is inspired by Stephanie Land’s bestselling memoir Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive. It revolves around Alex (Qualley), a single mother who turns to housekeeping to—barely—make ends meet. Told primarily through her point of view, Maid will be a beautiful, alive, gritty, and inspiring exploration of poverty in America.
This sounds like a good show with a couple of great actors. I am excited to check it out. Maid is set to hit Netflix in 2021.
