Nicolas Cage Confirms That He Has Been in Contact With Producer Neal Moritz About a FACE/OFF 2
Nicolas Cage is in the spotlight right now in a major way, as he has just released the critic and fan-acclaimed action comedy, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. He has had plenty of hits in his decades-long career, including Raising Arizona, Con-Air, National Treasure, Matchstick Men, and so many more, but one that fans so often ask him about is his action movie Face/Off, in which he starred opposite John Travolta.
Questions of a sequel have been raised for a while now, and Cage just responded to the rumors, telling ComicBook:
"[A Face/Off sequel] I can talk about because, there have been some phone calls with Neal [Moritz], who I enjoyed very much working with on the first Face/Off. He's somebody, he's one of the true, great producers in Hollywood. And, they have been making some calls. The other ones like National Treasure, I mean, their priority was a TV show. God speed to them. But, maybe Face/Off, maybe."
Reports have surfaced which indicate Moritz, known well for his work on the Fast & Furious franchise, is developing Face/Off sequel at Paramount. For now, it’s a rumor, and we will just have to wait and see how it pans out. But if it turns out to be true, would you like to see Travolta return to the sequel? Or would you like to see Cage switch faces with another Hollywood actor?
