Nicole Kidman Has Signed on to Star in PRETTY THINGS Series Adaptation at Amazon

Nicole Kidman is one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood. She puts out so many movies and series a year, it’s pretty incredible. And because she is such a fantastic actress who has won an Oscar, as well as several Golden Globes and Emmys, she has her choice of projects at this point. Her next undertaking is a starring role in the upcoming series adaptation of Pretty Things, based on the upcoming novel by Janelle Brown.

The series was competitively sought after, but Amazon won the bid, and Kidman quickly signed on to star as well as produce under her Blossom Films banner. The Handmaid’s Tale and The Rhythm Section director Reed Morano has signed on to helm the series, with novel writer Brown adapting the screenplay and executive producing.

Here’s the synopsis:

Pretty Things centers around two brilliant, damaged women who try to survive the greatest game of deceit and destruction they will ever play. When a reluctant grifter befriends a wealthy “influencer” on the shores of Lake Tahoe, her ultimate con devolves into a raw, treacherous game of long-awaited payback.

It’s unknown which leading role Kidman will take on at this point. Pretty Things is set to hit bookshelves on April 21st. Are you interested in this series?
