Nintendo Announces Closing Date of 3DS and Wii U eShops

Several months ago, Nintendo announced that they would be shutting down the eShops for the 3DS and Wii U in March 2023, but not specific date was given. It was recently announced that the closure will occur one March 27, 2023 and on August 29, 2022 you’ll no longer be able to add funds. The company does reiterate that you will still be able to redownload games, download updates, and even play titles online. You just can’t buy anymore content through the eShop on those systems. I know I’ve been working hard to save up and buy all the games I want for those systems like The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD. What are you making sure to grab before it’s too late?
