Nintendo Files Patent For "Download Only" Console

There's new news coming out this morning that may further allude to what Nintendo's in development console NX will be. Metro is reporting the industry giant recently filed a patent for a "download only" console. From its blueprints and description, it appears to be a streaming device, as it apparently lacks an optical drive for playing discs. It could very well be that this device will not be used to replace the Wii U, but to stream content from a network for a gamer to play. I'd be all for a Nintendo classic streaming service!
