Nintendo Reveals 25 Most Downloaded Games of 2019

Nintendo recently revealed the 25 most downloaded games of 2019. Overall, I’m not terribly surprised by the list, but there are some things I did find interesting. First, I found it interesting that Pokemon Sword ranked #6 with Pokemon Shield coming in at #11. I’m surprised there’s such a difference, especially since most of my friends bought Shield. I was also a little surprised at how high NBA 2K19 was on the list at #8. It beat a Pokemon game, Mortal Kombat 11, and several other games I would’ve thought to be more popular.
