Nintendo UK Releases THE HISTORY OF THE 2D METROID SERIES

Nintendo UK’s YouTube channel has released a video, The History of the 2D Metroid Series, to help players refresh themselves with the games and story that leads up to Metroid Dread.

It’s a really fun, short video that takes you through snippets of game play and story from each of the games chronologically. For me, who hasn’t played all of the 2D Metroid games, it was a great little primer for where the story will pick up.

It’s a fun little tribute to the past games and the transitions from game to game are really well done. I recommend checking it out if you are planning on playing Metroid Dread but either haven’t played the past titles or haven’t played them in a really long time.
