Noah Jupe Added to the Cast of AVENGERS: SECRET WARS in Top Secret Role
Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place) is the latest actor to join the vast ensemble cast of Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
Jupe’s role is being kept completely under wraps at this time, so all we can do is speculate. The movie is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Marvel chief Kevin Feige.
The story will be the follow-up to Avengers: Doomsday, which doesn’t debut until December 18th, but production on Secret Wars is set to begin later this year, ahead of the Secret Wars December 17, 2027 release date.
Secret Wars will likely reunite Jupe with his most recent co-star, Sadie Sink, who played the Juliet to his Romeo in a production of Shakespeare’s classic on London’s West End.
Sink made her MCU debut as the mutant Jean Grey in July’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day and will reprise her role in the forthcoming X-Men movie from Jake Schreier.
Doomsday follows as Marvel superheroes from three distinct universes — namely the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and several of Fox’s O.G. X-Men — are set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered: Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).
The cast also includes Chris Evans (returning as Steve Rogers), Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Tom Hiddleston.
Not much has been revealed about Secret Wars, which is said to be even larger in scale than Doomsday, leading audiences to believe that more superheroes (like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man or Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange) will return.
If the movie follows the comic run of the same name, it could bring together every hero from across the MCU multiverse into one dimension called Battleworld.
In the comics, Battleworld stitched together all the different worlds and plopped every hero and their variants into a new universe.
