Nostalgic "Legacy" Featurette for JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION Highlights How It's the Culmination of the Franchise

I still remember watching Steven Spielberg’s 1993 adventure film Jurassic Park in the theaters with my family when it was first released. I was 15 years old, and that movie completely blew my mind! It’s incredible to see how far the franchise has come since then and that the franchise continues to thrive.

I’ve got a great featurette for you to watch today for the latest film in the franchise, Jurassic World Dominion, and it delivers the nostalgia as it highlights the fact that this next film is the culmination of the franchise. It takes a look back at the original Jurassic Park movie, and it features the cast of the film talking about their experiences with the movie and how it lead to this. The promo also features new footage from the film.

Director Collin Trevorrow says that this movie will take audiences on “a true, honest to god, scary as hell adventure. Everything has been leading to this next chapter in the franchise and I’m excited to see how the story plays out!

Here’s the synopsis:

This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe.

"From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures."

The film stars Laura Dern’s Ellie Statler, Sam Neill’s Alan Grant, and Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm and they are joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda . Jurassic World Dominion is set to be released in theaters on June 10th!
