OBI-WAN KENOBI Breaks Disney+ Streaming Record
The latest Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi opened this past weekend, giving fans the first two episodes of the series. It was the series that fans had been asking for, for a while, and it did not disappoint! That is proven by the fact that the series has already broken the Disney+ streaming record.
According to the official Star Wars Twitter account, the new series is now the most-watched Disney+ Original series premiere to date, based on hours streamed in an opening weekend. This means the series beats Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which previously broke the record last year.

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, starring Ewan McGregor, premiered on Friday, May 27th. Episode 3 is slated for a Wednesday, June 1st release at midnight Pacific/3am Eastern. The remaining three episodes will release weekly throughout the month of June, with the finale dropping on the 22nd.
