Of Course Ubisoft's JUST DANCE Game is Getting Its Own Movie

Believe it or not, the Ubisoft Just Dance video game franchise is a hot commodity in Hollywood. There was a competitive bidding war between several studios to land the movie rights and Screen Gems won.

Yep, Just Dance is going to be getting its own film adaptation! I couldn’t care less, but it’s one of the best selling video games of all time and is played by over 120 million players worldwide, so there are a lot of fans that might be excited to learn that the movie is coming to the big screen.

There’s already a script that has been written for the film and according to Deadline, producer Will Gluck might end up directing it. His previous directing efforts include Easy A, Friends With Benefits, Annie, and most recently Peter Rabbit.

There are no details on the plot of the film, but I can’t help but think that it will just be another Step It Up type movie.
