Official Photo Released of Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke
Joe Manganiello has shared the first official photo of Deathstroke from his surprising big screen debut in the post-credits scene of Justice League! This is our best image of the character that has been released yet.
Deathstroke was originally supposed to appear in Ben Affleck's The Batman movie, but Warner Bros. recently announced that he will be getting a solo film. That solo film will most likely end up being directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid: Redemption, The Raid 2), which means this film is going to be ridiculously hardcore! I'm excited to see what he ends up doing with it!
The character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez and he's a mercenary and assassin who was genetically engineered to surpass all human limits, once a soldier, Slade Wilson now works as one of the most feared assassins in the DC Universe. He made his first appearance in The New Teen Titans #2 back in 1980.
