Olaf is Getting Another Animated Short at DIsney+ With ONCE UPON A SNOWMAN

Olaf is a popular character among children, from the Frozen films. Now, he’s getting a new animated short called Once Upon a Snowman that will explore his life between his creation by Elsa and when Anna and Kristoff meet him. The short will star Josh Gad as he reprises his role and will be directed by Trent Correy and Dan Abraham. Correy said:

This is an idea that started to form when I was an animator on the first Frozen. Dan Abraham and I are so grateful and excited to have had the opportunity to direct this short, working with our incredible colleagues at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Abraham added:

Josh Gad gives one of the great animated voice performances as Olaf through the ‘Frozen’ films. To have the opportunity to work with him in the recording booth was such a privilege and career highlight.

Once Upon a Snowman will be available to stream on Disney+ on October 23.
