Oliver Queen Wakes Up as Barry Allen in First Trailer for The Arrowverse "Elseworlds" Crossover
We’re a month away from Elseworlds being launched, which is this year’s Arrowverse crossover event. Fans are getting excited for this as it will serve to introduce Batwoman to the Arrowverse.
Fans have been wanting to learn more about the event and now we have a brief trailer for everyone. The crazy thing is that it seems to confirm a suspicion that some fans have had which is that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be switching lives/bodies/identities.
As you’ll see in the trailer, Oliver Wakes up as Barry Allen and he’s a little freaked out and confused by it as Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) keeps calling Oliver by Barry’s name.
The Elseworlds crossover will bring Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl to Gotham City where they will meet an Arkham Asylum scientist and Nora Fries, the wife of Batman villain Mr. Freeze. It will also introduce Batwoman (Ruby Rose).
It also marks the first time Arrow and The Flash meet Superman, who will be sporting a black suit. The series has also been shooting at the Kent’s house from Smallville.
Elseworlds will air across three nights, and will launch on Sunday, December 9th on The Flash at 8pm. It continues on Arrow Monday, December 10th at 8pm and then finishes up on Supergirl Tuesday, December 11th at 8pm.
