Olivia Wilde (The OC, Tron: Legacy) has made her directorial debut with a new high school comedy called Booksmart, and today we have a red band trailer to share with you!

The movie looks like a good and funny movie! It stars Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein as a pair of high school friends who are trying to get through high school life on their own terms and really party it up for the first time before they graduate. Here’s the synopsis:

Told from a wildly original, fresh and modern perspective, Booksmart is an unfiltered comedy about high school best friends and the bonds we create that last a lifetime. Capturing the spirit of our times, the film is a coming of age story for a new generation.

Booksmart was produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, and it’s drawing comparisons to films such as Superbad and Lady Bird. The movie also stars Will Forte and Lisa Kudrow.

Booksmart opens in theaters on May 24th.
