Olivia Wilde Set to Direct Christmas Comedy Film NAUGHTY
Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling) is set to direct a new Christmas comedy titled Naughty. The script for the movie is being written by Jimmy Warden, who recently wrote the film Cocaine Bear, so I guess we should expect this film to be a little crazy.
The film is described as Bridesmaids in the North Pole, and the story follows Mallory, “whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing.”
As you know, Wilde has been in a legal custody situation with her ex, Jason Sudeikis, regarding their kids. So, this was obviously a film project that spoke to her and that she’d have something to say with it.
Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara are producing through their LuckyChap production company.
