Marvel's SECRET INVASION Series Casts ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI Star Kingsley Ben-Adir
One Night In Miami star Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast in the upcoming Marvel series Secret Invasion at Disney+. He is joining Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn in the series, and Variety reports that Ben-Adir will play the show’s main villain. The villain’s identity has not been revealed, and we don’t have character details as of yet.
Jackson will reprise the role of Marvel’s Nick Fury in the series, and Mendelsohn will reprise his role of the Skrull Talos that he played in Captain Marvel.
Secret Invasion “centers on Fury and Talos — who first met during the events of ‘Captain Marvel’ — and a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Ben-Adir brilliantly played Malcolm X in One Night in Miami, the critically-acclaimed Regina King-directed feature that picked up three Oscar nominations on Monday. He also recently starred as President Barack Obama in the Showtime limited series The Comey Rule. He was also great in the Netflix series The OA. He’s an excellent addition to the cast, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with in this series.
