ONE PIECE ODYSSEY Gets New Story Trailer

Bandai Namco released a new story trailer for the upcoming One Piece Odyssey that highlights how the game will recreate key moments from the popular anime.

This trailer focuses on Alabasta which will let players revisit the Alabasta Kingdom as Luffy works to recover the Straw Hat Crew’s powers by visiting their memories. I think this will be a good mechanic considering how long running the anime has been to help players who may not be caught up on the anime or even those who have never watched it not feel super lost.

I still think Luffy looks absolutely ridiculous in this game though. One Piece Odyssey will launch on January 13, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
