Optimus Prime Seeks Redemption in Extended Super Bowl Spot for TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

A couple days ago Paramount Pictures released a 30-second version of a Super Bowl promo they planned on releasing on Super Bowl Sunday. Well, the full, minute-long extended version of the trailer has been released ahead of the big game, and you can watch it below. It features all the footage from the previous version along with some more new stuff to check out.

Director Michael Bay also released a statement earlier this week saying that The Last Knight was really going to be his final Transformers movie, but he's said that before, so I'll believe it when I see it. I hope it is his last time directing a Transformers film, though, because I actually like his non-Transformers movies. Hopefully this final film of his turns out to be a good one!

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.

Transformers: The Last Knight is set for release June 23, 2017.
