ORPHAN 3 Officially Announced by Lionsgate

Lionsgate has announced that they will be producing a third film in the Orphan horror film franchise. It was also announced that franchise star Isabelle Fuhrman will reprise her role in the movie.

Orphan 3 has officially been greenlit by the studio, and it is being developed by Dark Castle Entertainment. Norman Golightly, Co-CEO of Dark Castle Entertainment said in a statement:

“Dark Castle is excited to announce another terrifying chapter in the Orphan saga. With the past success of the first two movies and another thrilling storyline, we are confident Orphan 3 will be a must-see movie for both current fans of the franchise and new fans alike.”

Orphan: First Kill’s writer David Coggeshall (The Family Plan) wrote the script and director William Brent Bell (The Boy franchise) is also returning to helm the film.

There are no story details to share for the film, but it will be interesting to see what kind of story they tell with this third chapter of the story.
