Oscar Isaac and Ana De Armas Team with David O. Russell for BANANAS Series at Apple TV+
Oscar Isaac and Ana de Armas are set to star in a high-profile drama series that recently landed at Apple TV+ tentatively titled Bananas. The series is being developed by David O. Russell attached to direct and executive produce.
There are no details to share in regard to the story, but it’s being written and executive produced by Carolina Paiz, who previously worked on Orange is the New Black and Narcos).
When it comes to TV, Isaac starred in Moon Knight, Marvel’s limited series for Disney+. He also appearedin HBO’s Scenes From a Marriage, and just finished production on Julian Schnabel’s Hand of Dante, starring opposite Jason Momoa.
He will next be seen on the big screen in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, in which he plays Doctor Frankenstein.
The project will mark Ana de Armas’ first English-language series. She will next be seen starring in Lionsgate’s John Wick spinoff film Ballerina, set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
