Oscar Isaac Stalks Garrett Hedlund in First Trailer For MOJAVE
"It started in the desert, and it's gonna end there."
Here's the first trailer for Mojave, the second directorial effort of Oscar winning screenwriter William Monahan. You'd probably know him best as the screenwriter of Kingdom of Heaven and The Departed, since his directorial debut, London Boulevard, didn't make much of an impact. Monahan's new film stars Garrett Hedlund as a man who crashes in the desert and brawls with a mysterious loner played by Oscar Isaac. But when the loner follows the man back to his home and begins stalking his family, the tension escalates and it seems like one or both of these guys might not make it to the end credits alive. It looks like an interesting little thriller that might even have a bit of a supernatural lean to it (is Isaac's character really the devil?).

Mojave comes to DirecTV tomorrow and opens in limited release sometime in January.
