Oscars to Stream Online for the First Time with New Options to Watch

Movie ABC by Mick Joest

The Oscars are kind of a big deal for movie lovers like us. I imagine you shared my excitement when USA Today announced that for the first time ever, The Oscars will stream online with new options. In addition to a second screen experience and a live stream of the event on Watch ABC, viewers will have boosted access to the backstage press interview camera, the "thank you" cam, and the "winners walk" cam.

Having a background in media, I can say it's definitely an awesome experience to watch the press interview camera as a lot of surprising stuff happens in interviews after celebrities leave the stage with their awards. Of course, now that they know the world will be watching alongside with the press, they will probably be a little more formal, which is a bit disappointing, but maybe that won't happen! The Oscars will air on March 2nd at 8:30 ET.
