Otto Farrant Will Star in Sony's Teen Super Spy ALEX RIDER Series
Sony is making a TV reboot of Alex Rider, and they have found their star. Otto Farrant will be playing the titular role of “a reluctant teen superspy who goes on missions to save the world.”
Alex Rider is an adaptation of the books of the same name written by Anthony Horowitz, the latest of which was published earlier this month.
Back in 2006, director Geoffrey Sax attempted to adapt the books into a film, and it did not go well. Hopefully turning it into a series will go better.
The new series will be in eight parts and will begin with the second book, Point Blanc. Guy Burt is writing the series which currently does not have a home. Are you excited for this book series to get a second shot at being adapted to a screen?
