Our First Look at Metal Sonic Ahead of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 4
The Sonic the Hedgehog cinematic universe gives fans a sneak peek at the franchise’s future adventures in every post-credits scene, and in the third film, we were introduced to an army of Metal Sonics, and Amy Rose, the iconic pink hedgehog who came to save Sonic with her giant hammer.
A lot of Sonic the Hedgehog 4’s attention has been focused on Amy Rose, who will be voiced by Kristen Bell, but today we have a first look at Metal Sonic.
As you can see in the post below from franchise director Jeff Fowler, Metal Sonic looks just like a robotic version of our title friend, but we don’t know if he will speak in the film or not, and if he does, will he be voiced by Ben Schwartz as well? We still have questions unanswered, but it’s cool to see a practical version of the character in the picture!
However it plays out, we know Schwartz is back as Sonic, Idris Elba is returning as Knuckles, and Keanu Reeves continues his run as Shadow. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter are also back as Tom and Maddie, with Colleen O’Shaughnessey reprising Tails and Lee Majdoub returning as Agent Stone.
Jim Carrey is also back as Dr. Robotnik, but instead of plotting world domination like usual, it looks like he’s working alongside Sonic and the team.
On top of the returning cast, the movie is bringing in some fresh talent. New characters will be played by Kristen Bell, Ben Kingsley, Matt Berry, Nick Offerman, and Richard Ayoade.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to hit theaters next year on March 19, 2027. Check out the post below:
