Over 100 Shiny Pokémon Come to POKEMON TCG Next Year in SHINING FATES Expansion
In Pokémon games, you can sometimes come across what is referred to as a Shiny Pokémon. This is a Pokémon with a different color palette. Probably the most famous is the red Gyarados that players can easily find and capture in Pokémon Gold and Silver. Gyarados is normally blue, but this red Gyarados is truly something special. Well, Shiny Pokémon will be making their way into the Pokémon TCG via a special expansion releasing next year, Shining Fates.
In Pokémon TCG: Shining Fates, players will find 100+ Shiny Pokémon brought to the popular game. This includes 9 Shiny Pokémon V and 7 Shiny Pokémon VMAX which includes a Gigantamax Charizard. Fans will also find 3 more Amazing Pokémon, “each featuring a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon illustrated with vividly rainbow backgrounds that extend outside of the frame.” Shining Fates will launch across the globe on February 19, 2021.
