OVERWATCH is Getting Crossplay Soon

Overwatch is an extremely popular video game from Blizzard that released back in 2016. The game is going strong and after 5 years, Blizzard is finally going to give the game crossplay. It was recently announced that thanks to the new global Battle.net update, Overwatch will be the first Blizzard title to offer cross-play across all platforms. All you need to do is create a Battle.net account and link it to your console accounts (PC players can ignore this) and then you’ll be good to go. As a note, console players will be able to disable cross-play, but PC players cannot.

As an added bonus, if you log into Overwatch by December 31, 2021, you’ll get a Golden Loot Box to celebrate the beta which is launching soon on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. I am always a proponent for crossplay. I just wish that it could have happened sooner.
