OVERWATCH Launches Experimental Card on All Platforms and Ashe's Mardi Gras Challenge Event
The other day, Overwatch launched Ashe’s Mardi Gras Challenge. This event is running through March 9 and will allow players the chance to earn six sprays, two player icons, and one epic skin for Ashe (and Bob). You’ll get the player icons after winning 3 games, one spray at 6 wins, and the Mardi Gras Ashe (and Bob) Epic Skin after winning 9 games. In order to get the other five sprays, players will need to watch up to six hours of Twitch streamer content. You get 1 spray at 2 hours, 2 more sprays at 4 hours, and the final two once you cross that 6-hour mark.
In addition to this event, Overwatch has officially launched the Experimental Card feature on all platforms. This new mode is a way for the Overwatch team to get players to try new gameplay changes before pushing them into the competitive scene. The first thing being tested is Triple Damage. This gameplay changes the team composition to be one tank, three damage, and two support characters. Most people now play with a 2-2-2 composition, so this should be interesting to see. What do you think of Triple Damage?
