Owlcat Games Kicks Off a New Kickstarter for PATHFINDER: WRATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS Computer RPG
Owlcat Games recently launched a new Kickstarter for a new Pathfinder computer RPG. Fans were won over in the past with Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and now fans will be able to enjoy a new story called Wrath of the Righteous. In this new game, players will be able to journey in a world overrun by demons and even challenge mighty Demon Lords to save the world. It looks pretty great to be honest. One aspect that surprised me at first was that Wrath of the Righteous is using the Pathfinder first edition ruleset instead of the newer second edition, but I imagine that has to do with the second edition still being pretty new.
Wrath of the Righteous features the same classes as Kingmaker, but adds on with five new classes: Arcanist, Bloodrager, Oracle, Shaman, and Witch. In addition, Dhampirs will be available as a new playable race. In addition, the following three new Mythic Paths will become available as well:
“The new Mythic Paths revealed today include the Aeon, a cosmic judge of balance that can travel to the past; the Demon, an impulsive creature on the verge of losing its self-control; and the Azata, a champion of the innocent and unstoppable force of good. Players may ignore these celestial powers and become a Legend—a mortal who doesn’t need help from any deity to inspire people and destroy the demon lords.”
Wrath of the Righteous is currently slated to release in June 2021 via Steam and GOG. If you pledge at least $28 you’ll be granted a digital copy of the game as well as a special in-game item and even a role on the Discord server. The Kickstarter campaign has over 30 days left and has already raised over $420,000 out of $300,000! Are you excited for a new Pathfinder CRPG?
