Padme Amidala is Getting Her Own STAR WARS Young Adult Novel

According to Jedi-Bibliothek, the German publisher Panini has unveiled a new Star Wars Young Adult (YA) Novel that will be about Padme Amidala. The novel is due out April 24, 2018, and details are limited. We don’t know who the author is yet, nor do we have any kind of synopsis.

This is leading to a lot of speculation, and many news outlets are hoping for and guessing it will take place between Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. I agree that this would be a great time to explore in the Star Wars canon. Star Wars: The Clone Wars let us see some of what she was up to between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, so let’s see how she got there.

I like Padme as a character, so I’m excited to see where this novel goes. My only hope is that there is little to no Anakin. What do you think this book will explore?
