Palpatine Explains The Sith Rule of Two to Darth Vader in STAR WARS: HIDDEN EMPIRE

A preview recently dropped for Star Wars: Hidden Empire #4, and it features a scene in which Emperor Palpatine explains the Sith’s Rule of Two to his pupil, Darth Vader. The conversation comes up as the two discuss the Fermata Cage, which is an ancient artifact created by an artist using the dark side of the Force.

According to legend, the artifact can suspend people in time, and there’s a powerful Sith Lord that exists within it. In the story, Qi'ra and the Crimson Dawn are looking to release the Fermata Cage's Sith Lord into the galaxy to destroy Palpatine and Vader.

Now that Palpatine is aware of Fermata Cage and the Sith Lord that resides in the artifact, Palpatine takes some time to have a little lightsaber sparring session with Darth Vader, and talk to him about the Rule of Two. He mentions that if the other Sith Lord is released, that would mean three of them are now out there.
