PAM AND TOMMY Set Photos Feature Lily James as Pamala Anderson in BAYWATCH
A bunch of photos from the set of the upcoming Hulu limited series Pam and Tommy have surfaced, and they feature Lily James as Pamala Anderson in Baywatch. Anderson’s most iconic role was C.J. Parker in the ‘90s lifeguard drama, and James is sporting that familiar red one-piece swimsuit. It’s so weird seeing her in this role! It’s weird that this is a series that’s actually being made! But, people will watch it.
The series follows the “tumultuous relationship between the Motley Crüe drummer/co-founder and former Baywatch star/model, including the notorious incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and subsequently leaked to the public. Though it will be included, the story will not focus on the scandal but rather explore their relationship going back to their marriage after only 96 hours of knowing each other.”
The series also stars Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese, and Mozhan Marnò.
Rogen will take on the role of Rand Gauthier, the man who stole and sold the tape. Offerman takes on the role of “legendary prolific porn impresario” Uncle Miltie. Described as “big and burly,” Uncle Miltie “brings his larger-than-life stature into the workplace to keep things lively and real.” As “the money guy,” Uncle Miltie helps “disgruntled electrician” Rand (Rogen) distribute the sex tape. “A borderline sociopath,” Offerman’s character “treads along a line between humorous and horrific.”
Craig Gillespie (I,Tonya) will direct and executive produce the series.
