PANDEMIC is Coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One and Has an Intense New Trailer
Pandemic is a fantastic board game. It has even been made a video game thanks to the folks at Asmodee Digital for mobile devices and PCs. Now, Pandemic is coming to two more platforms, namely the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. This version of the classic game will let you play on-the-go (via the Switch) or on your couch with four of your friends as you try to defeat diseases. Pandemic will be available for $19.99 on August 1 via each platform’s respective outlets.
In addition, the On the Brink expansion will be available in September in two parts. One part will add the Virulent Strain option which increases the difficulty of the game quite a bit. The second part adds more roles and event cards to help players.
The thing that shocked me about this though is the fact that it allows up to five players to team up where the board game originally only allowed four players until the On the Brink expansion was released. I’m really excited for these new ways to play what is my wife’s favorite game and one that I have played countless times. Check out the trailer below.
