Paramount+ Has Renewed EVIL For Season 4!
Evil is one of my favorite shows to watch right now and if you’re not watching, you’re missing out on some fun horror entertainment! It was recently announced that Evil has been renewed for a fourth season and I couldn’t be more excited that the show is going to continue!
Nicole Clemens, president of original scripted series at Paramount+ said in a statement: “Evil continues to expand its fanbase of both critics and viewers alike; Season 3 currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and it is a consistent top five most-watched original series and acquisition driver for the service. We couldn’t be more excited to be terrified by what Robert and Michelle create for season four with our outstanding cast bringing it to life.”
The series examines the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. Katja Herbers plays Dr. Kristen Bouchard in the show. She is a forensic psychologist who investigates supernatural incidents with Catholic priest David Acosta (Mike Colter) and technology expert Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi). They investigate unexplained mysteries, supposed miracles, demonic possessions and other extraordinary occurrences. “Their job is to assess if there's a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work, examining the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion.”
The show is currently in its third season and I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it! This is one of those shows that just gets better and better as it goes!
Season 3 of Evil begins moments after the end of Season 2, “when a newly ordained David and Kristen kiss. In season three, the two not only have to navigate this fraught new reality, but contend with David's involvement with ‘the entity,’ an espionage unit within the Catholic church. Meanwhile, Ben finds his brain breaking from their unsolved cases and turns to his sister for help.”
The series was created by Robert King and Michelle King and it also stars Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Andrea Martin, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco and Dalya Knapp.
