Paris Hilton Is a Killer Doll in New Horror Comedy UNBOXING THE KILLER DOLL
Paris Hilton is getting back into horror, but this time she gets to be the one doing the killing. Hilton has been cast as the voice of a murderous doll in the upcoming horror-comedy microdrama Unboxing the Killer Doll, and the series already has a release date.
The project will premiere on aTwist on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as part of the platform’s new batch of original shows arriving this month.
The 45-year-old actress, entrepreneur, and reality TV personality will also serve as a producer on the series, which is part of aTwist’s “To Die For” lineup.
The story follows Sissy, a homeschooled geek who wants to find her way into the popular crowd. She decides to become an “unboxer,” but some mean girls decide to mess with her by sending her a creepy doll. Unfortunately for them, their prank comes with a body count.
The official logline explains: “When homeschooled geek Sissy tries to get in with the cool kids by being an ‘unboxer,’ the mean girls send her a creepy doll (voiced by Paris Hilton).
“She loves it, and they make even more fun of her, but the doll secretly begins killing them off and possessing her to kill the rest once she suspects something is wrong. The girl must find a way to defeat the doll and stop her, once and for all.”
A killer doll voiced by Paris Hilton taking revenge on mean girls feels like the kind of ridiculous horror-comedy idea that could be a lot of fun. It also gives Hilton another trip into the horror genre, something she has returned to several times throughout her career.
Her first feature film appearance came as a child in the 1992 fantasy comedy Wishman, where she had an uncredited role as a girl on the beach alongside her sister, Nicky Hilton. Years later, she popped up in Ben Stiller’s Zoolander before taking on one of her most recognizable movie roles.
Hilton played Paige Edwards in the 2005 horror film House of Wax, starring alongside Elisha Cuthbert, who played protagonist Carly Jones. Paige was Carly’s best friend and became part of the movie’s grisly trip into the town of Ambrose.
She later starred as Cristabel Abbott in The Hottie and the Nottie and played Amber Sweet in the 2008 musical horror film Repo! The Genetic Opera. Hilton also took on the role of Victoria English in the comedy satire National Lampoon’s Pledge This!
Of course, Hilton’s television career is just as recognizable. She starred with Nicole Richie in The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007, with the pair leaving their wealthy lifestyles behind for jobs and life in rural America.
Hilton later headlined the reality competition series Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, where contestants competed for the chance to become her new best friend.
Now she’s adding “killer doll” to an already strange and varied résumé. Hilton’s casting gives Unboxing the Killer Doll an appropriately campy hook, and the mix of teen comedy, possession, murder, and social-media culture sounds tailor-made for a quick horror fix.
Unboxing the Killer Doll premieres on aTwist on October 22, 2026.
