Party On! Josh Gad Hosts a WAYNE'S WORLD Virtual Reunion with Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and More
Josh Gad has released a new episode of his nostalgia web-series Reunited Apart! The first episode of Season 2 gives us a Waynes World virtual reunion with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey!
I love this movie! To this day it’s one of those classic comedies that still makes me laugh. It’s also one of the films fans still quote all the time.
Joining Myers and Carvey for the reunion are director Penelope Spheeris, Tia Carrere, Rob Lowe, Lee Tergesen, Lara Flynn Boyle, Ione Skye, and Colleen Camp. Ed O’Neill, who played Glen from Stan Mikita’s Donuts, and Charles Noland, as the creator of the Suck Kut, make an appearance. Alice Cooper even shows up as well with Judd Apatow as a special quest.
If you’re a fan of this movie, you’ve got to watch this! There are so many interesting things discussed about the making of the film. Hell, the iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody” almost didn’t feature Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”! Apparently, producer Lorne Michaels wanted to use a different song from Guns N’ Roses. But Myers couldn’t see the scene working with any other song. Thankfully, they didn’t change it!
Also, at the end, there’s a musical performance from none other than the lead singer of Crucial Taunt herself, Cassandra Wong.
Josh Gad will be back with another episode of Reunited Apart featuring the cast of The Karate Kid on December 21st.
