Paul Dano is Set To Play The Riddler in Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN

Paul Dano (Prisoners, Love & Mercy, There Will Be Blood) will join Robert Pattinson in director Matt Reeves’ DC film The Batman. The news comes from Deadline, who says that he will be taking on the role of The Riddler!

Dano is a super talented young actor and I can totally see him as The Riddler. If there was one DC villain that I think he’d be perfect for, The Riddler is it! Jonah Hill was previously up for the role of Penguin or Riddler, but he ended up dropping out and is no longer involved.

Zoe Kravitz (Big Little Lies, Divergent, X-Men) was previously cast in the film and will be taking on the role of Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) has been cast as Commissioner James Gordon.

I can’t wait to see Dano’s version of The Riddler in this movie! So far, I’m really happy with how the cast is coming together for this movie and I’m excited to see who else ends up joining the project!

The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters June 25th, 2021.
