Paul Dano Wrote a Prequel Comic for THE BATMAN Titled RIDDLER: YEAR ONE
The Batman director Matt Reeves recently announced a new spinoff prequel comic for the film titled Riddler: Year One, and it was written by Riddler actor Paul Dano. The announcement came with some art from the comic and a note that reads:
"Paul Dano's incredible journey with The Riddler isn't over yet... Unmask his new @DCComics comic book: Riddler: Year One, this October and see @TheBatman #OnlyInTheaters now."
A fan followed up asking to clarify if Dano actually wrote it and Reeves replied, "Yes. Paul Dano wrote it." You can check out those Tweets below:
This is pretty cool as I’ve been curious about Riddler’s past, and it will be interesting to see that past explored in this new story. Hey! Maybe we’ll get some insight into how he managed to gain a whole 500 followers on social media!
Seriously though, there’s no information on the story, but maybe it will explore the forensic accountant Edward Nashton, a.k.a. Riddler, investigating Gotham City's corrupt political and elitist hierarchy while going crazy in the process. The story before he actually ended up taking action and killing all of them.
What do you think about Paul Dano writing a Riddler: Year One comic?
