Paul Feig is Set to Direct a Holiday Movie Called LAST CHRISTMAS From a Script By Emma Thompson
Bridesmaids and Ghostbusters director Paul Feig is attached to direct a new movie for Universal Pictures called Last Christmas for Universal from a screenplay co-written by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings.
No details have been revealed on the plot. All we know at this point is that it will be a holiday romance film that is set in London.
I've enjoyed most of the films that Feig has made in his career, which also includes The Heat and Spy. Last Christmas seems like a movie that will fit his filmmaking and storytelling style perfectly.
I also love that Emma Thompson has written another script. She actually won an Oscar for Best Screenplay for the film Sense and Sensibility. She also wrote Nanny McPhee and Bridget Jones's Baby. I'm curious to see what this new film turns out to be.
