Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega Set To Star in A24's DEATH OF A UNICORN

Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega are set to star in the A24 film project Death of a Unicorn and they will be able to work on the film during the writer’s and actor’s strike. The unions are allowing talent to work on some indie film projects, and this movie is one of those projects.

According to a spokesperson for the studio, A24 is not part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Meaning that they are allowed to move forward with shooting their indie films.

There’s not much known about the plot for Death of a Unicorn, but what we do know is that Rudd and Ortega will be playing a father and daughter who run over a unicorn on their way home.

Death of a Unicorn will be directed by Alex Scharfman, who will also write the script, and it’s expected to begin filming in Hungary soon. It’s good to see that at least indie films can continue production.

Death of a Unicorn doesn't currently have a release date.
