Paul Rudd Filming Reshoots for ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Weeks Before Release
Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in a matter of weeks, but Paul Rudd was out this past weekend filming some reshoots for the movie in Los Angeles. There are photos of Rudd as Scott Lang walking around with a little smile on his face carrying a box of… something.
It doesn’t look like anything major going on with the reshoots, but it’s still interesting that they are doing reshoots so close to the release of the film! When it comes to these big Hollywood blockbuster films, though, reshoots are a normal thing.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania officially kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and in it “Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.”
Jonathan Majors will be taking on the role of Kang, and he’s going to be quite sinister. Kathryn Newton also will take on the role of Cassie Lang, and Bill Murray also has a role in the movie!
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is once again being directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness. The action-comedy superhero sequel will release on February 17, 2023.
