Paul Thomas Anderson Directed a Short Musical Film For Thom Yorke Called ANIMA and Here's a Teaser

Paul Thomas Anderson, the director behind Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, and Magnolia, teamed up with Netflix and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke to helm a musical short film called Anima.

The short is said to be a ‘one-reeler’ and it has been made alongside Yorke’s upcoming album of the same name. Yorke scores and stars in the short which is described as a “mind-bending visual piece, best played loud.”

I’m a fan of both Anderson and Yorke and there’s no doubt that this is going to be interesting to see what they’ve created together.

The film will be released on Netflix on June 27th and will also be screened in select IMAX theaters on June 26th. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
