Paul Walker's Family Wants To Bring His FAST & FURIOUS Character Back To The Franchise

It's been five years since Paul Walker passed away. I thought the Fast and Furious franchise did a wonderful job giving the actor and character the perfect send-off in Furious 7. They were able to pull that off with the help of his brothers Caleb and Cody and now those brothers would like to see Paul's character return to the franchise. That seems like it would be tricky to pull off, but they are open to trying to find a way to make it happen.

Personally, I don't think that needs to happen. I love Paul and his character in the franchise, but the franchise closed the book on the character the best way that they could and trying to bring him back at this point seems like a bad idea. While talking to the AP, Caleb said:

"I just hope we get to — I don’t know — have a little cameo and bring Paul back to save the day and I get to help create that again. That’s my dream and I hope we get to do that in one of the future movies."

Cody Walker added:

"I think there could potentially be a way to do it. But it would take a lot of thought and it’d have to be tasteful. It would have to be tasteful. He was the real deal, the real car guy. And in his absence, I — you know — I think it’s lost its way in a big way."

I totally understand why the Walker brothers would want to find a way to bring Paul back to the franchise. But for the fans like myself... what they pulled off with Furious 7 was the perfect way to say goodbye.

But, I guess if the studio wanted to bring him back, they could pull it off with CGI technology, which has improved since Furious 7. When addressing that final CGI shot of Paul Walker's face in the film, Caleb had this to say:

"It’s kind of creepy sometimes when you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s me.’ It doesn’t feel right."

What do you all think about the thought of bringing Paul Walker's character back to the Fast and Furious franchise in some way?
