Paul Walter Hauser Teases INSIDE OUT 3 Is in the Works at Disney/Pixar
It hasn’t been officially announced by Disney and Pixar yet, but one star of Inside Out 2 is teasing that he’s heard word we will see an Inside Out 3.
It would come as no surprise, as the second film shot above all expectations in the box office, making it the highest grossing animated movie of all time. The movie was a great second entry in the franchise, and fans would love to see it continue.
Emmy-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser (I, Tonya, Richard Jewell), who played the voice of Embarrassment in the second film, has reportedly spilled the beans about the threequel in a sit down with Comic Book, where he talked about being a part of the film that became such a phenomenon, saying:
“Crazy, it’s nutty. I heard we might be doing another one. I don’t know when or how or where, but the movie just resonated with people of all ages and it really, I think what’s different about the Inside Out movies from other animated films is it doesn’t really treat children as, as less intellectual beings.”
He went on: “It really tells a funny, brilliant story and they’ll grow with it as they get older, they’ll get some of the other jokes and it’ll find new resonance,” Hauser said.
“So I just love getting to be a part of these worlds. I mean, you look at Pixar, Cobra Kai, I’m in the new Fantastic Four film. So Marvel and now MLW, it’s like I love joining these families and these, these sort of cinematic universes that they are and getting to be some part of it. It’s been such a joy, man.”
Hauser has had an incredible career so far, and he has a lot of fun things in the works. I hope Inside Out 3 does happen, and I hope Hauser and all his great co-star voices are able to return to tell the story.
